We interviewed several candidates when we were looking for someone for our major remodeling job, but each one came up short in one area or another. We could tell right away that Shawn and Sergio were knowledgeable professionals with experience in all phases of construction. During the design phase they helped us every step of the way, listening carefully to our goals for the job, offering suggestions and advice in critical areas, and never once pushing us to do more than we were comfortable with.
Once demolition and construction got underway, Shawn and Sergio were a dream to work with. They took care of all the details -- handling permits, arranging for materials, dealing with subcontractors -- and even went beyond the scope of the job to make everything just right. They are so easy to work with. Nothing seems to rattle them. They handled changes in stride and met every single one of their commitments to us. They are amazing problem solvers. And when they finished, the work was beautiful.
We were fixing the house up to sell and boy did it ever. After less than 3 days on the market we sold the house for our full asking price, in no small part to the quality work performed by Lerma and Sons Construction.

The Lerma’s recently completed a major addition to our home, adding two rooms. The process was about as painless as a remodel could be. They communicated clearly with us, kept our home as clean as the situation allowed, and provided us with quality work.
